When I downloaded this Sexton show, I was a little worried how his version of Lovelight would sound. My hesitation was unfounded, though, and this is a wonderful one disc offering of great Sexton tune. The Angeline was very sweet. I do agree with the guy that this seems like it was a bit of a stealth recording, but it still sounds pretty great to me. Can't wait to see Sexton again in my next of the woods!

It's a clean recording, but it sounds like the mic is in the taper's pocket. Missing some essential high frequencies. I almost stopped listening as soon as I heard the first track, but it got louder afterwards. Not a lot of audience noise, and if you crank the volume, it sounds decent.

Martin is great, as usual.

I have listed to most of the shows here on the archive and this one is one of my faves. Very clean recording and, as always, Marin is fresh in his approach to all the songs he plays. I suppose when you sing with your entire soul that is bound to happen. He continues to amaze me every time. I just never get tired of listening to him. Get this one for your collection for sure.
